This exclusive event returns to the charming beachside town of Santa Barbara, California, where the event was founded over 17 years ago. By popular demand, CJU will again be hosted at The Fess Parker – A DoubleTree by Hilton Resort, which provides an intimate and productive setting for networking.

CJU is a by-invitation event, and exclusively for active clients of CJ Affiliate. We recommend that you hold off on securing travel until you receive your invitation code and your registration is confirmed.

Registration for CJU17 will require a code. If you are a client and have not received an invitation code, contact your account team or click the "I Need a Code" button.

Early bird registration opens on April 12 at 11:00 AM PDT. Early bird registration will continue through April 28 at the rate of $1,045 ($100 off). Regular registration will open on April 29 at the rate of $1,145.
You will need your unique invitation code to register. You will receive your invitation code in your CJU17 Early Bird registration emails starting on April 5 a week prior to registration opening.

CJU16 sold out two weeks before the event. We will open a waitlist once that occurs.
We offer a 10% discount for groups of five or more when they register at the same time under a primary registrant. The person registering the group will need the invitation code for each registrant.

Promotional codes cannot be applied to group pass purchases.
Your CJU17 registration includes admission to all keynote and breakout sessions, Discovery Lab (trainings fill up fast so sign-up ASAP; pre-registration recommended in CJ Universe), CJU Connect, and Global Publisher Expo. It also includes all general receptions, evening entertainment, and conference meals (breakfast and lunch) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Appetizers at the Welcome Party, seated dinner at the CJ You Awards Dinner, and a bite at the Late Night Food Court are also included.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Advertisers may pay with their CJ Account Number (CID).
Registration is open through September 10, 2017 or until we sell out. CJU16 sold out two weeks before the event. We will open a waitlist once that occurs.
Cancellations may be made prior to August 15 without penalty. After August 15, cancellations will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued after September 8, 2017. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to cju@cj.com.
Attendee substitutions from the same company may be made at any time at no charge but must be made in writing (email is acceptable). Substitution requests for individuals outside the company will not be granted. Substitution requests can be sent to the CJU Registration Team at cju@cj.com.

Please include the following information:
  • Full names of both the original registrant and substitute registrant
  • Email, title and invitation code of the substitute registrant
Hotel reservations made through CJU17 registration can be transferred to the new registrant. If hotel reservations were made directly through an alternate hotel, the registrant must contact the hotel directly.
The Networking Pass allows you to purchase six extra beverage tickets at $75.00 when you register. Beverage tickets can be shared with colleagues and partners at the After Party event.
Room reservations for The Fess Parker will open on April 26, 2017 at 11am PDT. The link to reserve a room will be included in your email on April 26, or you can visit the Travel and Lodging page to book. Clients will need their unique invitation code to register for a room at The Fess Parker. The Fess Parker will not be taking reservations directly.

Please note: The Fess Parker room policy will be the same as last year. If a client books a room at The Fess Parker they must register for CJU17 no later than July 15th. If they have not registered by July 15th, we will cancel their room reservation so someone who is registered for the event can get a room onsite.*

We will send an email reminder to anyone who has not registered for CJU17 two weeks before the July 15th cut-off to remind them to take action in order to keep their room at The Fess Parker.
Once rooms at The Fess Parker are sold out, attendees attempting to reserve a room will be given the option to add their name to a waitlist.

We cannot guarantee Fess Parker rooms on the waitlist will be fulfilled. We recommend making hotel accommodations at one of the alternate hotels listed on our Travel and Lodging page.

If rooms become available, clients on the waitlist will be contacted in late August.
Mountain and resort view rooms will be $309/night and include all taxes, fees, in-room Wi-Fi and parking. Ocean view rooms are $359/night and include all taxes, fees, in-room Wi-Fi and parking.
One person can reserve up to five rooms at The Fess Parker, as long as they pay for all the rooms with one payment method. The person who makes the reservation must provide the names of all the occupants. If those names are not yet determined, they can be added later. If each person pays with their own credit card they must book their own room and can book just the one room.
A deposit is not required to reserve a room at The Fess Parker. You will need to provide your method of payment, credit card or CID (Advertisers only). The total charges for your room fees including taxes will be charged automatically on August 20, 2017.

You will need to provide a credit card upon check-in at The Fess Parker for incidentals.
The Fess Parker confirmation numbers will be included in the final details communication the week of August 31, 2017. The Fess Parker will not have a record of your reservation until after that date. Any changes to your reservation need to be requested through cju@cj.com until you arrive and check-in at The Fess Parker.
Rates are based on the dates of CJU and available under the alternate hotel section on the Travel and Lodging page.
Open sponsorships are available starting April 12. Clients can review sponsorships within the registration interface or download the Sponsorship Prospectus on the Sponsorship page. Advertisers may charge sponsorships to their CID.
Registration opens on Monday from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at CJU Connect located in The Fess Parker Plaza Del Sol. It reopens on Tuesday at 7:00 AM and again on Wednesday at 8:00 AM in The Fess Parker Santa Barbara Foyer. CJU17 passes will not be mailed.

Our breakout session schedule can change all the way up to the conference. We aim to make our final changes a couple of weeks before the conference. However, unforeseen circumstances can necessitate a last minute time change or cancellation.
